HEC23 - Location

UPDATE: HEC23 in 2021 will be held ONLINE!

The HEC23 meeting was planned to take place in beautiful Upper Franconia / Northern Bavaria, Germany.

It is famous for having the worlds highest brewery-density per capita in the world - and one of those breweries will actually be right next to our conference location, the "Tagungsstätte Vierzehnheiligen".

It is part of an ensemble around the pilgrimage site of the "Basilica of the Fourteen Holy Helpers" (Basilika Vierzehnheiligen).

HEC23 - Getting there

By car: Exit Autobahn 73 for "Bad Staffelstein Kurzentrum – Vierzehnheiligen" and follow the signs; the conference center is less than 5 minutes away.

By train: The Inter City Express trains take you to Lichtenfels, from there take either a taxi or bus 1212 (about 5 km). Depending on demand, we will organize a shuttle service.

By plane: The closest airport is Nürnberg, about 1 hour away
